Our Story
Eric Sampson (creator and owner) has a passion for turning items that people may discard into something new for their home.
In the Fall of 2012, he noticed pianos piling up in the piano mover's yard next door to his auto repair business. He asked if he could have a look at pianos before they sent them to the local dump. Eric was intrigued by the pianos' unique designs and craftsmanship. So he partnered with his neighbor and began to reclaim some of pianos that he could not see destroyed.
During this time Eric was renovating his home while his wife was on a 2yr expatriate assignment in Beijing, China. When he needed a break from the renovations and boredom, he would dismantle come of the pianos and create mantles and mirrors for their home. Every new piano that he salvaged inspired him to create more and reclaim other architectural items headed to the landfill.
With the support of his wife, family, and friends, Eric debuted Repurposed Heritage in Spring 2016 with a booth at the 2nd Annual Massive Barn Market in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania. He continues to build handcrafted furniture from pianos, architectural salvage, industrial salvage, church pews, and whatever he falls in love with.

How do I order a product from you?
We attend a couple of art & crafts events each year. If your would like to attend one of the events, please click here for our upcoming events.Or you can contact us via phone or e-mail, and we can schedule an appointment with you to shop our warehouse. Our warehouse is located in Prospect Park, Pennsylvania.
Can you customize an item for me?
Yes. We can work with you to customize any salvaged item that we have in inventory.
Do you buy old pianos?
Generally, no. We get most of our stock from donations and demolitions, which allows us to keep items out of landfills so they can be reused.
Do you deliver?
Yes, we can. We can arrange delivery for you. Please contact us for more information and delivery pricing. Generally, we only deliver to PA, DE, and NJ but we may make exceptions depending on the distance.
Do you ship any of your items?
It may be possible to ship smaller items. Delivery is a better option for most of our items due to their size. Please contact us and we can discuss which option is best for the product that you select.
